The days just keep slipping past me as of late. It seems as though there are never enough hours in the day for me. I know that's a common thought and all, but it has never really meant anything to me until now. Going to school takes up time that I didn't realize was there. I have been trying so hard to keep up with everyone and everything, and it's exhausting. I just can not do it.
Classes are going well. I have a new paper coming up for English... it's an argumentative essay. I'm leaning towards teen pregnancy or something to do with SAHMs. The class gets to have one-on-one discussions with the professor on Thursday to help us decide on a good topic.
I guess that's about all I have time to say today. For some reason, blogging gives me a sense of accomplishment...like I've completed some unknown task for the day. I find it odd but kinda comforting. :)
I'm used to weekends being time to recharge my batteries and not do much of anything....not the case for me anymore.
Fridays now consist of grabbing Mo and Cassi from school, dropping them at home, running back to get Gabs from cheer practice, heading back home to make a quick dinner and feed the crew, load everyone up in the van and take the younger girls to the Shadle's house to be watched during Chris's (Cassi's bf) football game. Then drive on over to wherever the game is that night, freeze my butt off, leave the game, grab the kiddos again and return home. Wow! That's all in just a few hours.
Saturdays used to be all about driving to Ohio to the Shadle's campsite. The campground is now closed, so that's not on the menu for the time being. However, that means Saturday is now grocery and running my butt off day. It's now my get-it-all-done day. Laundry, bathrooms and general house cleaning take up most of the day.
By the time Sunday rolls around, all I want to do is veg out in front of the T.V. and watch football all day. It's not often that I can really do that anymore...I still have more cleaning to get done and - oh! I forgot to mention the pile of homework that stacks up! So, there I go again, off in a ton more directions...
Don't get me wrong, I'm enjoying school and my busy life, but it's so much more than I thought it would be. I need help in areas that I never did before, and no one is adjusting to that very well. It's rough trying to get someone to do things that need to be done...but I sure as heck try!
Time has been flying around here lately. I can't believe that it's the middle of October already! School has kept me so busy...I really had no idea it was so time consuming.
I really miss my daily blogging, and I'm hoping to get back in to that. I always have so much on my mind, but no time to share it with anyone. I really miss being able to go do things with my friends. It seems like there isn't enough time in the day. For example....it's 11:33 am....I'm blogging when I should be in the shower....I have to leave her in less than 30 mins to make it to class. I'm not really caring a whole lot right now, cuz I have stuff I want to say...but again, no damn time to day it! UGH And I really need to hit the shower, so I am going to end this for now....I'm hoping to finish it when I come home between classes, however I have a Poly-Sci midterm to study for, so I probably won't be able to! GRRRRR
I haven't had much of a chance to blog lately...I'm going back to school! I'm thinking about Pharm Tech, or maybe an actual Pharmacist...I'm not sure yet.
We found a new house and moved into it in August. We really like it...3 bedrooms, living room and full bathroom upstairs, kitchen, bathroom, laundry, living room and 2 bedrooms downstairs. It has a basement, but we're not using it for anything but storage.
That's my short update for now. I'm sure there will be more to come another day! :)
